Synopsis
Forgotten Language is based on an assumption that the capital city, Seoul, became a region and the region became the capital. The protagonist is an aspiring actor who was born and raised in Seoul and uses the city’s dialect. She practices everyday to weed out the trace of dialect, but the tenacious Seoul dialect wouldn’t disappear easily. Language represents a basic element that forms an individual from others, the capital from the region and prejudices. A satirical short film about dialects.
