Synopsis

For anyone that opposes the dictatorship, the smallest punishment is to have an ear cut off. On a rainy night, a man finds an ear on the ground.

Program Note

In an era where everyone is against dictatorship, the minimum punishment in this autocratic society is cutting off one’s ears. On a rainy night, a man picks up an ear from the ground. Delirium, a film produced in Iran, throws a metaphor of a repressed society with terrifying images and amputated ‘ears’. (Gina KANG)
