Synopsis

In a remote forest, Mom suddenly notices that the child has disappeared in her sight. She barley found that she's daughter is playing house next to a strange-looking huge teddy bear. The title was taken from the old name of the children song.

Program Note

Can you expect fear from a story featuring a child and a teddy bear? Teddy Bears Picnic proves it is possible. A young child playing hide-and-seek steps into the woods where teddy bears are hanging from trees like fruits. But a scene that may appear in a fairy tale suddenly turns into a frightening one. What is the secret that the mysterious forest embraces? The film’s short running time leaves some room for imagination. (SUNG Sun-hae)
